"WHAT IS DANCE THERAPY?
This discipline consists of doing exercises led to dance, which allows you to relax, share, enjoy music, exercise and free yourself from stress and anxiety; dance therapy is a dialogue between music and the body that promotes emotional stability by raising endorphin production, generating a feeling of pleasure and joy with a direct impact on levels of self-esteem and motivation.
It is important to note that in dance therapy classes, there is no particular genre of music, but Latin rhythms such as salsa, cumbia, merengue, reggaeton, hip hop, bachata, rock and roll, samba, among others, predominate.
In addition to burning calories, dance therapy will provide you with high cardiovascular benefits, including working your mind against Alzheimer's disease. If you want to attend a dance therapy session you have to take into account the following:
-Wear comfortable clothes, comfortable dance or sports shoes.
